Imagine a Komodo Dragon that's 20 feet long. There really was a monitor lizard that big living in Australia called Megalania prisca. Komodo Dragons are only 10 feet long, this giant could eat a Komodo Dragon. Megalania was something that by the time you saw it, you should be prepared what's coming next. Megalania's favorite prey was the giant marsupial Diprotodon. Like the Komodo Dragon, Megalania may have had a mouth full of bacteria, which, if it bit an animal, would cause a very dangerous infection called septicaemia. It could also use its huge claws to tear apart its prey.
