Juratyrant was a species of tyrannosaur that lived in England 150 million years ago. Until 2013, Juratyrant was identified as a species of Stokesosaurus. In early 2012, reanalysis of its bones identified it as a separate species and was named Juratyrant in 2013. At 10 feet long and weighing 500 pounds, Juratyrant was not the biggest predator of its time. However, it was the largest predator of its area, hunting ornithopods like Cumnoria and stegosaurs like Dacentrurus.
