The Jaguar is the 3rd largest cat in the world, after the Tiger and the Lion. It is also the largest cat in the Americas. It manly lives in South America, but recently, it has been found in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. The Jaguar doesn't take on gigantic animals like a Tiger would. It prefers to take on small to mid-sized animals. However, Jaguars can actually drag prey the size of a horse all the way to its territory. Because of its stength, the Jaguar was worshipped by the Aztecs and the Mayans. The big cat is still worshipped today in Brazil, only they don't make sacrifices to feed a Jaguar.
