Becklespinax was a species of carnosaur that lived in England 133 million years ago. At 20 feet long and weighing 1 ton, Becklespinax was similar in size to Neovenator. Becklespinax can be distinguished from Neovenator by the small sail that ran down its back. The sail was very similar to that of Acrocanthosaurus; in fact, at one point, Becklespinax was believed to be a species of Acrocanthosaurus. It likely behaved a lot like Acrocanthosaurus, hunting ornithopods like Iguanodon and Hypsilopohodon.
